Job description
Calls on customers at industrial sites, business offices, and
institutional account locations to identify and create oil free air
rental opportunities. Calls on key account administrative and management
personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction. Handles customer
service issues in the field and negotiates rental contracts. Develops a
thorough understanding of the market conditions (e.g. current customers,
competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develops and
executes a strategy to achieve revenue goals.
Experience requirements
Minimum of three years of customer service experience, with demonstrated
successful sales experience in rental equipment or a related field
preferred.
Knowledge
Demonstrated selling and interpersonal communications skills, with
excellent oral and written communication. Customer service orientation
and ability. Able to work effectively as a team player, and to work
independently with little supervision, using organizational and time
management skills. Able to work with sales and budget forecasts; to
apply effective selling practices and techniques; and to conduct
productive cold calling and customer sourcing activities.
Educational requirements
High school degree or equivalent and some additional related training or
advanced education. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Personality requirements
Able to read instructions, numbers and to write legibly in English.
Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical
information. Completes mandated safety training within 10 days of hire.
Follows supervisor’s instructions and works amicably with co-workers
