Job Description

Under minimum supervision, responsible for ensuring that maximum production and shipment of aggregate materials are at the lowest cost while complying with all safety, health and environmental procedures. Responsible for enforcing the division safety policies and procedures, MSHA, OSHA, and other regulations to ensure employees have a safe working environment. Monitors quality control procedures to assure the quality of material is produced safely and efficiently. Coordinate with area sales departments to understand desired inventory and product needs. Supports and participates in various community relations and educational programs within the area. Promotes high standards regarding plant appearance for this highly visible location to the community.

Required Skills

High School Diploma required with a B.S. degree in a related field preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in all areas of quarrying, preferably at a supervisory level. Must have a thorough knowledge in methods and techniques of quarrying and with related equipment and suppliers.
